It must have been 6:30 in the morning at the latest, and the vast majority of the castles inhabitants were in bed, asleep. It had not been Felicitys' intention to get up this early, but she could not manage to get back to sleep after waking at six am. As there was little else to do this early in the morning she had decided to go on a walk around the castle until it was time for breakfast, which would not start for another half hour. She had eventually found her way to the ground floor, and was currently standing by the door that led out to the grounds. She twisted the door handle, and gave the door a shove. It was like a blizzard outside, she noted to herself, the snow had covered everything in a soft white blanket. She took a step out, drawing her thick winter cloak tighter around her pajamas, the temperature of the snow causing her to yelp as she realised she had no shoes on.

Cutlass noticed the girl yelping, she recognised the girl but couldn't remember where from. Cuttlass was doing her usual run. She got up at 5am before getting dressed and running until about 7:30. Even though it was sub-zero, she was sticking to her schedule. She hated change. Unfortunately that meant she was traipsing through thick snow, trying her hardest to melt the snow as she ran. She stopped jogging for a minute and called to the girl at the front door. ''Are you okay?'' she called out.

Felicity looked over to the direction that Cutlass's voice was coming from, and nodded, gingerly stepping back into the door way, grateful for the return of the warmth. "Yep!" she called out, "I didn't realise the snow would be so cold." Felicity squinted at Cutlass through the snow, and paused for a moment before a flicker of recognition came over her, "I saw you in Flourish and Blotts Store last holiday," she shouted with a grin.

''Oh, hey!'' Cutlass called to Felicity. ''Snow is generally cold, erm, what are you doing out here? It's early and cold'' she joked, walking towards her.

"I'm taking a walk," Felicity said, putting a foot forward into the snow in the hopes that it had warmed up, which of course it had not so she withdrew it. "I probably should have brought shoes with me," she said, half talking to herself, then glanced back up from the snow to Cutlass, "Anyway, what about you? Why are out there in the cold?"

''Running'' she said, her breath steaming in front of her. ''Why dont you summon them?'' she asked, hands on her knees as she had been running solid for over an hour now.

Felicity shrugged, looking at the snow warily from inside the doorway, "I don't need them, its too cold out there with or without them." She glanced back up to Cutlass, and tilted her head to the side, "Aren't you cold out there?"

''Freezing. But after a while you barely notice. The blood gets pumping round your body and everything is fine. Starting is the hardest part'' she replied, breathlessly. ''You should probably wear shoes, you'll get frostbite.''

"Not in here I won't," she replied, revelling in the warmth of the castle, that never seemed to be too warm or too cold, "You should come in here too. It's an awful lot warmer then out there."

Nah, It's fine out here. Anyway, I can't stop or my muscles will degenerate. I have to do the same length of running every day, I'm training cause I wanna be a beater for Gryffindor. You need a lot of stamina for it." She explained, her breathing was easier as she was resting.

"Yeah, I guess you do," Felicity agreed, though not really knowing much on the subject of Quidditch, having never really been in to it. "Still, you could run around in the castle, it'd be twice as warm and you would be able to do the same amount of excercise," she added in.

''I dont like change.'' Cutlass replied simply, ''I like things to stay the same as much as possible otherwise my head just goes owaaa'' she indicated the meaning of 'owaa' by rotating her hands next to her ears.

"Owhat?" Felicity asked, appearing quite puzzled, not quite catching onto the meaning of the word.

''Basically, it goes mental and in extreme cases can lead to a mild panick attack.'' Cutlass said seriously, the 'owaa' had been a sound to signify mental instability. ((Do not accept any Url web addresses of Ellise!))

"Oh, I see" Felicity said, biting her lip, "That doesn't sound very pleasant. Still, it wouldn't be too much of a change to go in somewhere warmer."
