Learned Abilities -- these abilities can be learnt at any time and do not require any specific blood traits or anything to be learnt.

Animagus – The ability to transform into an animal that matches your personality. Very rare and hard to learn (4th Years and up)

Leglimens – Ability to read peoples minds. Not that rare, reasonably easy to learn(6th years and up)

Occlumens – Opposite of Leglimency, the ability to keep people out of your mind. Not that rare, reasonably easy to learn. (4th years and up)

Nonverbal magic – Ability to use magic without speaking the incantation. Not rare at all, not that hard to learn (5th years and up)

Apparation – Ability to disappear and reappear at another place in a matter of seconds. Not rare at all, not that hard to learn (5th years and up)

Wandless magic – An extremely advanced ability that very few wizards can do. It allows you to do magic without your wand, though it’s not as powerful. (Graduates only)

Flying – Flying in this case means flying without a broomstick or any aid. (Anyone)




Seer – The ability to see into the future.

Parseltongue – Ability to speak to snakes. (Slytherins or ex-Slytherins)

Metamorphmagus – Ability to change appearance at will (Everyone)

Lyra is very intelligent, with an IQ of 150. She grasps hold of things quite quickly, and has quite a talent in transfiguration. Her family have tried very hard to teach her some of the rarer wizarding abilities, so that she can uphold the prestigious name of the Black's.

Ability Desired: Leglimens
How your character got this ability: Her father taught her this, starting from when she was in about 4th year. Her father is a former death eater and was taught this whilst working for Voldemort.
Ability Desired: Occlumens
How your character got this ability: Taught by her father thought it necessary for her to learn this in defence of anyone trying to use Leglimens on her.
Ability Desired: Nonverbal Spells
How your character got this ability: Learnt from school. Can do quite a few, but with a fair amount of difficulty as much of her study time has been devoted elsewhere.
Ability Desired: Animagus
How your character got this ability: Her gift in transfiguration inspired her to learn to become an animagus. She has been studying for it since 4th year, and in 6th managed to perfect it. At present she is unregistered, though in the future she may decide to register. Her animagus form is a black panther.

Legilimens: Taught herself using books inherited whilst young.
Occlumens: Same as Legilimens
Non-Verbal Spells: Can do unforgivable curses and any weapon-like ones cause shes had a lot of practise. Can also do Legilimens Non-Verbal.
Apparation: Can do weakly but not great at it yet.
Parseltongue: Is related to Salazar Slytherin.

Abilities.
Legilimens and Occlumens. He worked for the Order back in the time when it was around and he learned Legilimens and Occlumens. He wasn't a main member but one of the side-line participants.

Non-verbal magic and apparation. He learned it at school as well as apparation.

Non-Verbal, Apparition and Occlumens

Learned non-verbal and Apparition in her extra tuition with Mcgonagall. Occlumens was taught also by Mcgonagall as it helped calm her panic attacks to a milder, more bareable form.
