Running her hand down the spine of a rather old looking book, Rosalie made sure that she didn't dame the already worn out thing and set it down on the desk. She flicked through the contense and turned to the appropriate chapter. Sitting down again she began to skim read through the book in order to try and compleate her potions essay.

"Hey!" Leela said, grinning over at Rosalie, taking a seat at her table, and then asked after surveying the very old looking book for several moment, "What are you reading?"

"Oh hi." replyied Rosalie, dipping her quill into her favourite bright blue ink. "I'm just looking up some stuff for our potions essay for next monday. I just thought I could get some more housepoints if I tried to add in more. Do you think that three pages is too long, because Professor Snape did only ask for one and a half..." she trailed off, as she finnished her last paragraph and started re-reading.

"Three's probably fine for any other teacher, though with Snape, unless your a Slytherin its probably best to do exactly what he said," Leela said wisely, having herself stuck to the one and a half that he asked for, "Though it doesn't really matter. I don't know. Does he like Ravenclaws? Cause he's always picking on my House for the smallest of things. Evil git that he is."

"That's really strange... Mabye he had bad experiences." she suggested. "Though he doesn't usally pick on us unless someone messes up their potion." she added, Carefully closing the book.

Leela shrugged, "Well, probably just us then. He's always looking for any excuse to pick on us. It's really annoying. Can't wait till I can drop that subject." Shrugging her bag off of her shoulder, Leela got out her Divination book, flicking through it in a rather bored manner.

"Don't you have any other homework?" asked Rosalie. "I've always got an essay to write. It's strange how other people are always relaxing and yet I'm working non-stop." she place the book back on the shelf and started flicking through her bag for her diary. "So how are you I guess. Sorry, It's just people don't talk to me much - I'm always busy."

"I've got a bit of homework, but I'll get it sorted at the weekend. You Ravenclaws are always overworking on all the homework given, its no wonder you've got not free time," Leela said, smiling in amusement, "And yeah, I'm good thanks. Are you okay?"

"The same really." she started writing again, making the familiar scratching noise of the quill. "Well I sometimes go and sit by the lake with a good book. It's such a time waster it feels like I'm always busy." she laughed. "It's a shame that books can be so absorbing."

"Yeah, it is," Leela agreed, with a small smile on her face. Though she herself didn't read much out of the necessary school books, she could understand the attraction of it. "I don't think we'll get much free time at all next year, with the OWL's and all."

"Yeah but in 6th year they let us have some free time during a few of the lessons if we drop some subjects for our NEWTs." She shut her book that she was writing in. "We get careers advice next year don't we?"
