Name: Cutlass (Her real name is Emily Lynn but no-one calls her that. The name Cutlass comes from the time she used to do Fencing as a hobby and that is accepted as her name)

Personality: Sarcastic, witty, Brave. She was going to be in Slytherin for her capacity for Evil but her bravery exeeded her cunning and to her disappointment she was put in Gryffindor.
Appearance: Shiny Blue hair, wears a lot of Eyeliner. Blue eyes, tall.
Background Information: Always been known for her "Bad Girl, Gothic" style and so regularily does thing that keep up this image of her. Has frequent panic attacks and was known throughout her childhood as "The Freak". Her parents were divorced when she was little and she lives with her dad (Derek). Being a Half-Blood her muggle father cannot accept her as normal and so rarely speaks or has any form of contact with her. Her mother (Sarah) works in the Ministry as Advisor to the Minister for Magic so sees little of Cutlass. She sends gifts when she can and letters every month to keep contact.

Her family are rather poor despite her mother's high profile job as Sarah has 3 kids of her own and 4 step-children to care for. Cutlass' father works in a clothes shop as a checkout supervisor. They live in a 2 bedroom flat in the middle of Lewisham. She is sporty and strong, she prefers using physical fighting to magic but has a like for the Unforgivable curses. She has extra tuition with Mcgonagall during the holidays because her mother wrote a letter to the school expressing a wish for Cutlass to do so.
Roleplay Example:
Cutlass came home from her daily run. She liked to jog at least a mile a day to stay healthy. She put the key in the lock and went inside, her flat was at the top. She climbed the staircase taking the steps 2 at a time as the lift was currently "out of order". She got to her door and put the key in the lock... it didn't fit. Her father had changed the locks again. "Dad! Let me in! I do live here still!" She yelled through the letterbox.
"Not anymore you don't!" came the reply. She sighed and looked around for anything she could use to break in. She saw her Hogwarts trunk already packed for her, "I still have a week before School!" She yelled again before rolling her eyes and pulling out her wand. Alohamora! She thought, being able to do non-verbal spells was something she had learned in her extra tuition last year. The lock clicked open and Cutlass pushed the door. "Dad. You can't keep locking me out! I have to stay somewhere!" Her father glared at her and walked into his bedroom, slamming the door then bolting it shut. Cutlass rolled her eyes and began taking her possessions back inside.
